About the Artist
This design was done by a Langley resident in collaboration with the settler owner of Leading Edge.The two discussed the various aspects of the design, with the artist Michael taking the goal of the shirt and incorporating the significance of the various aspects in relationship with indigenous interpretations. Colours were also chosen with the placement of the colours as per indigenous traditions.
