This beautiful 2020 Orange Shirt Day design was created by Jackson Eiteneier, a grade 9 student in Calgary.

WHAT ORANGE SHIRT DAY MEANS TO ME
Orange Shirt Day is a way to show my culture as well as looking out for other youth in the world. Every child matters is very important to me, how? Well, it protects all children so that they can? grow old and have children of their own.

WHAT MY DESIGN IS ABOUT
My art represents the all Divine protection of a mother or father of their child. In the larger hand there is designs which represent experience. In the child’s had there is only a little bit of design at the root of the hand, the rest being white. It’s showing the protection of an elder for the child.
